Building a four-step routine that actually fits a normal morning

The famous ten-step routine was never a daily prescription — it was a catalogue of options. In Seoul, most people we work with run four steps in the morning and five at night.

Morning: a low-pH cleanse, a hydrating toner or essence patted in while damp, one targeted active, and a sunscreen you genuinely enjoy wearing. That's it.

The single biggest determinant of results isn't the number of steps — it's whether the sunscreen gets applied at the correct quantity, every day. Korean chemical filters make this considerably easier than most Western formulas.

Layer in a treatment mask twice a week if your barrier is struggling, and leave retinoids for the evening.
